Quiz Rules

  1. 1 hand written 3×5 card (no fold outs) is allowed for quiz 1, 2 3x5 cards are allowed for quiz 2, and 3 3x5 cards are allowed for quiz 3
  2. Non graphing calculators are permitted
  3. You must bring your student I.D. to the quiz
  4. If your cell phone rings during the quiz you will receive a 0 on the quiz
  5. If you touch or look at a cell phone you will receive a 0 on the quiz


Quiz Grading Information

  1. Quizzes will be curved so that each section has the same average
  2. You TA will hand back your quiz the next time that your section meets
  3. If you want a regrade you must give your quiz back to the TA before you leave section (this even includes possible addition mistakes made by your TA)
  4. The entire quiz will be regraded if you ask for a regrade
  5. If any eraser marks are on your quiz and you ask for a regrade you will get a zero on the quiz

Midterms and Final

Exam Rules

Exam Grading Information

  • If you want a regrade you have 72 hours (from the time the midterm is returned) to turn your exam along with a regrade request form to Dr. Winn or her mail box in the chemistry office (York Hall 4010)
  • If you want a regrade your entire midterm will be regraded therefore you could both gain and lose points
  • If you request more points because a friend got more points than you, you need to submit both of the tests and both tests will be regraded. This means that both you and your friend could lose points on the midterm, especially if we graded to easy on your friend.
